THE MYSTERIOUS CHANDELIER OF PARACAS

Perú is a country of many enigmas and one of them is the presence of this mysterious engraving called THE PARACAS CANDELABRO of whose origin very little to almost nothing is known... it is said that it could be a strange symbol left by some pirates that would indicate a special place, perhaps the location of some treasure, that it was an ancient signal as a prehistoric beacon for navigators and others also claim that it could have been made by an ancient civilization 2,500 years ago BC its location is very special and this has led to its conservation since it is located on a sand hill in the bay of Pisco that has special characteristics that have protected this engraving from wind erosion for thousands of years in good condition.

This  CHANDELIER can be seen from the sea when we started the expedition to the Ballestas Islands and given its large size of 180 meters in length it is easily seen by the human eye from several kilometers away. Among the researchers who have done studies on this figure is Maria Reiche, a German archaeologist famous for her studies of the Nazca Lines, coming to the conclusion that this engraving is oriented towards the south as if it were pointing to the Southern Cross, so it is believed that it was the ancient inhabitants of the Nazca culture who made it to remind navigators that this was a sign that would have been called THE NAVIGATOR'S CROSS.
