THE TURQUOISE NATURAL POOLS OF MILLPU
This incredible tourist attraction is located in the central Andes of Peru, in the Ayacucho region, 560 kilometers from Lima. Although the origin of its intense turquoise color has not been thoroughly studied, it is believed to be due to the combination of different mineral components and sunlight. This natural wonder of turquoise waters is made up of 20 beautiful natural pools, which have originated in the Millpu River bed, to get to this place you have to go to the city of Huamanga and from there travel to a small town called CIRCAMARCA located 120 kilometers from Huamanga (approximately 3 hours) located at 3,500 meters above sea level, to finally walk about 30 minutes to reach this impressive tourist attraction.
