HUAYHUASH, THE GOLDEN MOUNTAIN OF PERU
Considered one of the most beautiful trekking routes in the world, the HUAYHUASH mountain range is an imposing and fascinating place with landscapes of extraordinary beauty that seem otherworldly. After the CORDILLERA BLANCA, it is the second highest mountain range in Peru and one of the highest in the world, with seven snow-capped peaks over 6,000 meters above sea level. The name of this mountain range derives from a weasel that lives in the Andes. If we want to go on our own, the first thing we have to do is travel from Lima to Huaraz (402 kilometers).
